July 22, 2025, Willich – LC-Power releases the Platinum Pro Series, a new and improved version of the regular Platinum Series. In comparison, the new PSUs deliver improved efficiency, stronger component quality, and a longer warranty. The Platinum Pro PSU series promises high-performance, designed for builders who demand premium quality, long-term reliability, and full next-gen hardware compatibility.
Features
The series comprises three models: 850 W, 1000 W and 1200 W, serving all types of builders and PC-users, and the units are ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 ready. On top of that, this series is 80+ Platinum certified like the previous Platinum Series. The units offer up to 92% efficiency and reduced heat output, which translates to more sustainable performance with lower energy consumption.
Moreover, the Platinum Pro is equipped with high-grade 105°C rated Japanese Capacitors, ensuring maximum stability, long lifespan, and consistent performance under demanding workloads. Additionally, the native 12V-2×6 connector ensures stable power delivery for modern GPUs without adapters, including the latest RTX 5000 series cards.
Aesthetically and functionally refined, the Platinum Pro features a brushed aluminium cover and fully modular cable management, complete with black-sleeved cables for a clean, professional look in any build. Keeping temperatures and noise in check is a 135 mm high-pressure cooling fan, optimized for quiet airflow under load. The fan operates in zero-RPM mode at loads up to 40%, ensuring completely silent performance during low to moderate system usage. On top of all of this, the PSU lineup features a 10-year warranty, ensuring extra security for the customer’s purchase and future builds.
